Hulk Hogan Ultimate Anthology DVD Set

This Ultimate Hulk Hogan Anthology 3 disc set covers the amazing career of the greatest Superstar in the history of sports-entertainment. Hulk Hogan has mesmerized fans from the birth of Hulkamania in the mid-80's, and continues to wow fans today. It's all here, from his classic battle against Andre the Giant at WrestleMania III, to his 2005 induction into the WWE Hall of Fame and the recent premiere of his VH1 reality series, Hogan Knows Best. This release will chronicle his amazing career and spotlight a number of his classic matches.

I was expecting much more. I knew there would be no bio part as that was on Hulk Still Rules that was released a few years ago. I was looking forward to the match listing the first person provided, especially the cage match against Orndorff from 87. But...that was not there, same with the War Games match. I think that was VERY misleading. Anyways, most of the old school WWF stuff was very nostalgic and reminded me of when I was a kid...so I liked it for that. Hogan was a great performer, no doubt about it.

Know, im not a fan of Hulk Hogan. I just bought this dvd to add to the collection. I wasnt really impressed with the dvd though i did have high expectations. The reason i give this dvd 3 stars is because Hogan wins every match the same freaken way. He hulks up, then gives that DANM LEG DROP. I would would have like too good matches where he losses for a change. Come on, he only losses two matches on this Set. But on the up side there are some really good matches. My personal faverite is vs. The Rock Wrestlemanis 18. And his match with Vince. But if ur a Hulkamaniac u will love this set and is a must buy. Otherwise it looks good with ur collection

i am really peeved that WWE decided to put only 4 matches from hulks WCW years considering that most of hogans matches in WCW were 100% better that any of his WWF/WWE matches from his first of his second stint in WWE(hogan had more say in WCW so was aloud to do moves that he couldn't in WWF/WWE). As a fan of WCW and hogan when he was in WCW spending £25 to watch hulk plod around in WWF/WWE is not what i call time well spent

I have my pros and cons about this dvd. First what I didn't like was that it was a match intro then match format. There was no disc 1 story of Hogan format like the Piper or Bret Hart dvds that I think are much better in comparison. The matches are great and all of the best and significant Hogan matches are here. You don't need more AWA or Georgia material from Hogan here believe me. The only thing missing from this dvd is the Orndorff and Hogan cage match. So don't listen to Justin's post about that match being on here. That match is on History of the WWE Championship dvd. As amatter of fact, there's some matches that Justin listed that are NOT on this dvd. There is a Hogan/Orndorff match here but it's not the cage match. It's good nonetheless cause that feud was legendary. Stop reviewing dvds if you haven't even seen them. You're misleading people. The War Games match is NOT on this dvd either!!! The match here is Hollywood Hogan vs the Giant in WCW which he doesn't even list. Seriously. Don't review stuff you haven't seen yet. This dvd gets 4 stars from me anyway cause it's a great nostalgia trip. Yes it has stuff that you can find on other dvds but maybe other people don't buy all the other dvds. If you just want to get a great Hogan dvd without much of a detailed story. This is a solid buy and definitely worth adding to your dvd collection.

Great dvd, i was very pleased with this hulk hogan is great and this is must have.6 matches? on each dvd lol what dvd were u wactching first dic has 9 and the others have at least 7 or 8 and it has lot of fights like xwf fight with curt,please people dont write stuff unless you know ur stuff. overall gret dvd musthave

I was disapointed with this DVD. It doesn't have anything new. The program part of it is much like the RVD and Undertaker: Tombstone dvds where it is just matches with introductions inbetween. They don't even use new material for the intros to matches it is stuff that was previously released on other WWE dvds.
