Road Warriors: The Life & Death of Wrestling's Most Dominant Tag Team
History's most feared tag team returns...
They "snacked on danger, and dined on death" for two decades, dominating professional wrestling and immortalizing themselves as the only team ever to hold all three major titles (NWA(WCW), AWA, WWE).
Hawk and Animal, better known as The Legion of Doom, rampaged through the AWA, NWA, All Japan Pro Wrestling, WCW and WWE.
In this DVD, the stunning journey unfolds, from their auspicious debut in the early 1980s to the tragic death of Michael "Hawk" Hegstrand in 2003. Ride along with the Road Warrior's most memorable bouts, interviews and more.
Brutal. Commanding. Unforgettable.
Oh, What a Rush!

Reviewer: Wayne from Richmond, Virginia This excellent 2 DVD set on the Road Warriors was an interesting view. The Road Warriors are perhaps one of the greatest teams to ever grace the squared circle, and this set explains why. A recommendation to long time fans as well as new fans.Rating: - Road Warriors Reviewer: Idol275 from Portland, Maine Excellent documentary piece on LOD. A must see. Animals bonus commentary on a few of the matches is outdated as in kayfabing. I would of liked to see some mentioning of the Powers of Pain feud and there Halloween Havoc 89 match vs Sid and Spivey on the DVD as an extra but thats ok.Rating: - awesome! Reviewer: bwpb from greensboro, North Carolina I have watched this over and over. It has so much old footage in great condition. I think it is a must have for any 80's or early 90's fan. Love watching it. The match selection is almost perfect I would have added a couple of different ones but....also noticed that iron man is never played during the DVD at all. Must not have been given the rights to the song.Rating: - Good Reviewer: sunshine246 from Jarvis, Ontario I bought this DVD a week ago, The matches are good and they show the Road Warriors were ahead of thier time, and different from anything else during thier era. |
