Jack Brisco was NCAA champion for Oklahoma State University and went on to become one of the biggest stars in professional wrestling history, winning the NWA World Heavyweight Title in 1973. Author Bill Murdock has spent countless hours with Jack, helping him write his story about his travels through amateur and professional wrestling. A very good read. A lot of history pre professional career. Never knew he was Native American. Some of his "road stories" come off as sort of flat, but that doesn't take away from the book. Not alot of laughs, like Blassies book, or Lawler's but nonetheless if you are a mark for "old school" like myself, you HAVE to read this book!
