ReviewsAverage Customer Rating: Based on 25 reviews. Write a reviewRating: - THE MAN!!!! Reviewer: Todd from Newark, Ohio This set is great. It has classic matches and I am pleased for an WWE DVD that it focuses alot on his NWA/WCW stuff. Plus a DVD with the 1992 Royal Rumble is solid itself as that Rumble was a who's who of pro wrestling. Pick this up!!!!!Rating: - WHOOOOOO!!! Reviewer: Linwood from Lemoyne, Pennsylvania This is a great DVD. It has Ric Flair at his best against some of the greatest wrestlers of all time! It is a joy to watch and a must have. Diamonds are forever and so is Ric Flair.Rating: - wow Reviewer: travis from kettering, England absolutely amazing this is a great dvd wish there were more matches but thats ok this is gret extras easter eggs ill give this becasue of the matches etc i love classic wrestling 7/10Rating: - Ric is The Man! Reviewer: David from Guaynabo, Puerto Rico Ric Flair is another best wrestler for me behind Hulk Hogan, Carlos Colon and Ray Gonzalez. This DVD is another of my favorites and Ric was a 16 time World Heavyweight Champion for sure.Rating: - The Greatest Of All Time!!! Reviewer: Wayne from Richmond, Virginia Ric Flair IS the greatest of all time. There will NEVER be another performer like this man, and this DVD shows exactly why. This is possibly the most AWESOME DVD ever released by the WWE and it will likely stay that way until the WWE releases a Bret Hart DVD. But onto this DVD. It's AWESOME like I said before. Here's my review: Disc One
vs. Harley Race, Starrcade 83 (this excellent match is of much of slower pace than today's type matches, but it's worth a look) *****
vs. Dusty Rhodes, Starrcade 85 (not a classic, but give it a look ONLY if you've never seen it before) **1/2
vs. Barry Windham, Worldwide 87 (this AWESOME match got the ENTIRE Worldwide show in 87, and if not for the Savage vs. Steamboat match at Wrestlemania III, this would've been the match of the year)*****
Disc Two
vs. Ricky Steamboat, Clash Of The Champions VI, 2/3 Falls (classic, classic, classic, this one IS breathtaking)*****
vs Ricky Steamboat, WrestleWar 89 (another classic with Steamboat where Flair wins the NWA title for the 6th time, they had the greatest series of matches EVER in 1989)*****
vs. Terry Funk, Clash Of The Champions IX, I-Quit match (one of the first true matches to embrace the hardcore stipulation before ECW came, a wild, outstanding brawl, the best I-Quit match ever)*****
Disc Three
The 1992 Royal Rumble match (this rumble match set the standard for all preceding rumbles to follow, Flair's one man show is one for the ages)*****
vs. Sting, Clash Of The Chaampions XXVII (not that great, but give it a look if you never seen it) ***
Also, check out the bonus features and easter eggs as well.
Overall, this DVD is a must have for ANY wrestling fan. BUT, it's missing A LOT of CLASSIC material that should've made this DVD, such as:
vs. Sting (Clash Of The Champions I) vs. Lex Luger (Starrcade 88) vs. Ricky Steamboat (Chi-Town Rumble 89) vs. Terry Funk (Great American Bash 89) vs. Luger (Wrestlewar 90) vs. Luger (Capital Combat 90)
vs. Randy Savage (Wrestlemania VIII) vs. Vader (Starrcade 93)
Otherwise, purchase this DVD set NOW.

This DVD takes you back to the Early years of wrestling. All the old matches will take you throught the history of the sport. Classic matches with Dusty Rhodes and Ricky the Dragon Steamboat. I recomend this DVD to anybody loves wresting. Its not only entertaing but its educational about the history of wrestling.Rating: - woooooooo Reviewer: doinkamania from chhhh, Indiana This is the greatest collection of 4 and 5 star matches WWE has ever put on one awsome DVD collection. This is the best WWE DVD of all time period.Rating: - Dimonds are forever so is this collection!! Reviewer: Sammy from Cleveland, England WOW thats basically how I can sum up this DVD set. If you have ever got into even just one pro wretling match than buy this set immediatly. This is what pro wrestling is about. Great wrestling from a legend that is RIC FLAIR. There is not one piece of footage on this set that would bore anyone. Action packed is an understatement. nobodys wrestling set is complete if this collection isnt in it. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! Rating: - The Ultimate Reviewer: skylarstone from Sanford, North Carolina Simply put, buy this Collection.Rating: - The Greatest Wrestling Collection Ever. Reviewer: Mass Chaos from Allen, Texas This is the best wrestling DVD out in the market today. I enjoyed every match, every segment. This is a must own for any wrestling fan. This is the Holy Grail of Wrestling DVD's out on the market. Only the Rey Jr. DVD comes close to it.Rating: - THE GREATEST PRO WRESTLER OF ALL TIME! Reviewer: DaBrainDamaged1 from Norcross, Georgia If you are a true Ric Flair fan, you have to own this collection. The Race/Flair match brought back some memories. As well as the Flair/Steamboat match & the Flair/Funk match. The interview with Harley Race offering the $25,000 bounty was hilarious. This is a must own collection. Ric Flair had it all. Superb wrestling skills. And no one compares to him on the mic. Ric Flair is the greatest wrestler of all time....BAR NONE. He is THE man!!! Whoooooo!Rating: - THE BEST Reviewer: ricflair456 from Cromwell, Connecticut The only reason why this didn't get four stars was because it left out a couple of matches that should have been on there in replace of the Flair Sting match from '94. This is the best wrestling DVD collection ever put together. The first two matches may only appeal to hardcore fans because the pacing doesn't really trancend to today but everything else would make even the biggest anti wrestling person a fan of Flair. See what makes Flair the greatest American wrestler, not Hogan, of all time.Rating: - excellent Reviewer: GDaddy1981 from Virginia, Minnesota Flair's DVD collection did what Hogan's couldn't seem to do: draw me in and make me care. The main reason I bought Hogan's was because I was too young to experience him in his prime. Unfortunately, all I got was a bunch of one-star matches thrown together with no back story or reason to care about them. The Flair collection changes all that. There are only a handful of featured feuds, but each one is backed up with great storytelling and great action in the ring. It definitely made me a believer that Ric Flair is the best performer to ever step between the ropes, period.Rating: - Stylin and Profilin Reviewer: minijones from Kirkland, Quebec This is the best DVD ever!! It has tons of bonus features that tell the story behind legendary matches. It has all of Flairs legendary moments in WCW, NWA and WWF. I am glad they included the final Nitro interview where Flair yells passionatly about Vince not holding back WCW... Great DVD. Rating: - Oh my god!!!!!! Reviewer: HybridG from Fargo, North Dakota The best collection of footage and matches ever. I used to think the Rey Mysterio ws the best one out, but this blew it away. A must haveRating: - Reviewer: jjewers from Halifax, Nova Scotia Growing up in Canada, I didn't get much of a chance to see Flair's matches when he was in his prime. This is an absolute must-have for anyone who does not have an understanding about The Man's contribution to wrestling. The look, the promos, the in-ring ability - Flair made it into an art form. There's a reason why this DVD has outsold all other WWE ones, and once you've seen this compilation, you'll know why. WOOOOOO!Rating: - The Ultimate Ric Flair Collection Reviewer: Mysterio4Life from long beach, New York I grew up idolizing "Naitch" and I still admire him greatly to this day. No mere three discs could compile Ric's entire career, but this set is truly awesome for what it does contain. The clarity of the footage, given the age of some of it, is amazing! Even casual fans of Ric Flair need to pick this set up to see what old school wrestling is all about!Rating: - The Greatest Wrestling DVD Ever. WOOOO!!! Reviewer: thesums from Powder Springs, Georgia There is nothing else you can say about this DVD compilation that hasn't already been said. It has Flair's greatest rivals including full promos and backstory to the matches. It is just great to see the old NWA footage in excellent quality. Brings back alot of memories. Buy it now!
There is another Easter Egg (not mentioned in the Description) on Disc 3 in which Flair explains how his trademark "WOOOOOOOOO!!!" came to be and has various WWE wrestlers and personalities with their own version of the "WHOOOOOOOO!!"Rating: - A Definite Must Buy Reviewer: eidlevascht from Bay City, Texas This is without a doubt, the greatest DVD compilation releasedby the WWE. It is a comprehensive and entertaining set. The quality is superb, and the chapters all go really in depth with each rival. A fan of Flair, 80s wrestling, or wrestling in general should pick this up.Rating: - Awesome Reviewer: lucaslieswald from Tilden, Nebraska This is simply the best WWE DVD of all time. If you are thinking about buying this. Do it now. It rules. Rating: - Reviewer: nelsonx74 from ASHEVILLE, North Carolina Rating: - A must-have for Flair fans Reviewer: COliv1977 from Miami, Florida It's excellent! It's got every big match you can think of in his career. It's 3-discs, and each disk is divided into 3 or 4 sections highlighting a particualr rival, and within each of those sections are extras like promos and clips. It's the most extensive DVD I've ever seen. Anybody who's a wrestling fan, even if you never liked Ric Flair should have it
Rating: - WOOOOOOOOOO! Reviewer: chadman666 from Chadston, Illinois The movie is WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORating: - WHOOOOOOOOOOOOO Reviewer: curlystooge from Mesa, Arizona finally, a complete collection of ric flair classics-instead of buying seperate videos only about ric flair, u can get all in a 3pack dvd collection. My favorite ric flair match is flair vs funk from the great american bash 1989 in baltimore. ENJOYRating: - the best collection in WWE history Reviewer: steve_man56 from Snellville, Georgia This will be the best thing to come to DVD since the waffle iron if you dont buy this you are not a wrestling fan trish's dvd is ok Brock lesnar's is alright but this is the best one yet 5 Star just like 5 star frog splash buy this now!!!!!!!!!!! |
