As would often happen, the Atlanta Braves ran long that afternoon, the interview was pre-empted,and the show was joined in progress about 15 minutes in. Later in the show, when Flair and Ivan Koloff were having a confrontation, Ivan made reference to the interview and Flair being Man of Year, but no one would know specifically what Ivan was referring to until now! This set is great. It has classic matches and I am pleased for an WWE DVD that it focuses alot on his NWA/WCW stuff. Plus a DVD with the 1992 Royal Rumble is solid itself as that Rumble was a who's who of pro wrestling. Pick this up!!!!!

Ric Flair is another best wrestler for me behind Hulk Hogan, Carlos Colon and Ray Gonzalez. This DVD is another of my favorites and Ric was a 16 time World Heavyweight Champion for sure.

Ric Flair IS the greatest of all time. There will NEVER be another performer like this man, and this DVD shows exactly why. This is possibly the most AWESOME DVD ever released by the WWE and it will likely stay that way until the WWE releases a Bret Hart DVD. But onto this DVD. It's AWESOME like I said before. Here's my review:
Disc One

vs. Harley Race, Starrcade 83 (this excellent match is of much of slower pace than today's type matches, but it's worth a look) *****

vs. Dusty Rhodes, Starrcade 85 (not a classic, but give it a look ONLY if you've never seen it before) **1/2

vs. Barry Windham, Worldwide 87 (this AWESOME match got the ENTIRE Worldwide show in 87, and if not for the Savage vs. Steamboat match at Wrestlemania III, this would've been the match of the year)*****

Disc Two

vs. Ricky Steamboat, Clash Of The Champions VI, 2/3 Falls (classic, classic, classic, this one IS breathtaking)*****

vs Ricky Steamboat, WrestleWar 89 (another classic with Steamboat where Flair wins the NWA title for the 6th time, they had the greatest series of matches EVER in 1989)*****

vs. Terry Funk, Clash Of The Champions IX, I-Quit match (one of the first true matches to embrace the hardcore stipulation before ECW came, a wild, outstanding brawl, the best I-Quit match ever)*****

Disc Three

The 1992 Royal Rumble match (this rumble match set the standard for all preceding rumbles to follow, Flair's one man show is one for the ages)*****

The Ultimate Ric Flair Collection is a must buy to anybody who loves wrestling and anybody who is just starting to watch wrestling. This DVD takes you back to the Early years of wrestling. All the old matches will take you throught the history of the sport. Classic matches with Dusty Rhodes and Ricky the Dragon Steamboat. I recomend this DVD to anybody loves wresting. Its not only entertaing but its educational about the history of wrestling.

WOW thats basically how I can sum up this DVD set. If you have ever got into even just one pro wretling match than buy this set immediatly. This is what pro wrestling is about. Great wrestling from a legend that is RIC FLAIR. There is not one piece of footage on this set that would bore anyone. Action packed is an understatement. nobodys wrestling set is complete if this collection isnt in it.

If you are a true Ric Flair fan, you have to own this collection. The Race/Flair match brought back some memories. As well as the Flair/Steamboat match & the Flair/Funk match. The interview with Harley Race offering the $25,000 bounty was hilarious. This is a must own collection. Ric Flair had it all. Superb wrestling skills. And no one compares to him on the mic. Ric Flair is the greatest wrestler of all time....BAR NONE. He is THE man!!! Whoooooo!

The only reason why this didn't get four stars was because it left out a couple of matches that should have been on there in replace of the Flair Sting match from '94. This is the best wrestling DVD collection ever put together. The first two matches may only appeal to hardcore fans because the pacing doesn't really trancend to today but everything else would make even the biggest anti wrestling person a fan of Flair. See what makes Flair the greatest American wrestler, not Hogan, of all time.

Flair's DVD collection did what Hogan's couldn't seem to do: draw me in and make me care. The main reason I bought Hogan's was because I was too young to experience him in his prime. Unfortunately, all I got was a bunch of one-star matches thrown together with no back story or reason to care about them. The Flair collection changes all that. There are only a handful of featured feuds, but each one is backed up with great storytelling and great action in the ring. It definitely made me a believer that Ric Flair is the best performer to ever step between the ropes, period.

This is the best DVD ever!! It has tons of bonus features that tell the story behind legendary matches. It has all of Flairs legendary moments in WCW, NWA and WWF. I am glad they included the final Nitro interview where Flair yells passionatly about Vince not holding back WCW... Great DVD.

Growing up in Canada, I didn't get much of a chance to see Flair's matches when he was in his prime. This is an absolute must-have for anyone who does not have an understanding about The Man's contribution to wrestling. The look, the promos, the in-ring ability - Flair made it into an art form. There's a reason why this DVD has outsold all other WWE ones, and once you've seen this compilation, you'll know why. WOOOOOO!

There is nothing else you can say about this DVD compilation that hasn't already been said. It has Flair's greatest rivals including full promos and backstory to the matches. It is just great to see the old NWA footage in excellent quality. Brings back alot of memories. Buy it now!

There is another Easter Egg (not mentioned in the Description) on Disc 3 in which Flair explains how his trademark "WOOOOOOOOO!!!" came to be and has various WWE wrestlers and personalities with their own version of the "WHOOOOOOOO!!"

It's excellent! It's got every big match you can think of in his career. It's 3-discs, and each disk is divided into 3 or 4
sections highlighting a particualr rival, and within each of those sections are
