Ok, I like ECW..but this promotion is trying real hard to be that...It shouldn't. This promotion has promise on its own. They should steer away from that. Sadly it seems people from philly only want to see blood and guts. The wrestlers try real hard to give the fans their moneys worth...they even try to give them a little ECW.. but it seems they screw on too many highspots to give them that. There was so many botched moves it wasn't funny. All the new competitors have promise and could be real stars if it wasn't for the philly fans screaming ECW all the time.. Old ECW mainstays like Sabu Balls Mahoney, Raven and Blue Meenie should retire or get in shape. They are waay past their prime. However Stevie Richards still has at least 10 more years in him. Is he the only wrestler that has kept himself in shape all these years? He saved this show. He was the highlight of this DVD and for years I've been saying that he's underated. I hope they don't continue this ECW trend because if they do, they won't last long. Promising young wrestlers risking their necks for small pay to show extreme wrestling for philly fans is not the way to go. On a side note,This DVD should be strictly for mature audiences. The language is really off the wall here. Profanity is almost in every match especially from the crowd. What the hell are kids doing at ringside? What kind of parents are you philly people anyway?!! There is no classic match in this DVD sadly...but Steven Richards winning the belt to become the first Extreme rising champion is worth the price. He is finally getting his due and rightfully so. Other promising guys i really took a liking was Jay Bradley who has plenty of charisma and knows how to work a crowd. Papadon is another guy being held back by these philly fans..Luke Hawx botched some moves but he has talent no doubt..these guys have promise. Why did this promotion decide to go extreme? How the hell you gonna get a TV contract if you go Extreme? There will be no sponsers if you go this route. Twas the end of ECW when they continued to go this way. Still, its refreshing to see this promotion on the rise..Im tired of WWE and TNA...too much drama in those silly promotions.Learn people...learn.
