Tony Atlas is one of the break out stars of the 1970's and 80's in the world of Pro Wrestling. But before that, Atlas was a successful bodybuilder, arm wrestling champion, andpowerlifter.

Atlas begins his intriuging story with his past as a young man with eight other brothers and sisters growing up in a poor household. Atlas tells how his life changed when he was discovered by George and Sandy Scott and began training for Jim Crockett Promotions and eventually went from being the new guy to gaining main event status everywhere he went. Atlas has very interesting things to say about what it was like being an African American in a sport dominated by white athletes. You will not believe what he has to say about this subject. It will surely surprise you.

Atlas has worked for every major promotion of his time. He discusses why he was let go by Vince McMahon and the WWE and who's fault it was that he was let go, plus he tells why his return as Saba Simba did not work. He also has some very candid things to say about his former tag team partner Rocky Johnson and what he really thinks about the Rock's father. Atlas holds nothing back when talking about Johnson. You won't believe some of the story's he tells about Johnson.

Atlas also gives insight on how Vince McMahon viewed Hulk Hogan early in his career, especially compared to a young Tony Atlas. The way Atlas tells the story you would think that he was to be the man to lead the WWE. Watch and find out what is said about the early WWE and how Tony Atlas had the chance to change the landscape of Pro Wrestling forever.

This is a must see for anyone who wants to know what really happened to Bruiser Brody in Puerto Rico. Tony Atlas came across as a very likeable person. He openly took responsibility for hurting his own career. I never knew he was promised the shot a becoming the first black heavyweight champion. I recommend this for any and every wrestling fan.

Tony Atlas seemed like a really cool guy in this shoot interview. He was very soft spoken and seemed really honest and straight forward in his answers. The story about Brody's death is worth the price alone. Interesting comments on Rocky Johnson as well. A must see.
