Saturday, August 23rd, 1987 marked the NWFs final card promoted at the Anoka Armory. On this card were several NWF stars such as The Invaders, The Destructors, and The Ice Dragon. But the big one was Crusher Crossen defending his NWF title against long time friend and now enemy Kid "Hot Stuff" Kelsey. An amazing night of wrestling as the NWF promoted its sequel to the event that started it all back in 1986.
SUPERSTARS SPECTACULAR 87 was held on Saturday, August 23rd, 1987. This was the 5th and final Anoka Armory event, and it drew a lively, record crowd.
The popular matches included The Disco Kid vs Invader IV; The Destructors vs The Bruise Brothers; Invader III & The White Ninja vs The Ice Dragon & The Mystery Man; Crusher Crossen vs Kid "Hot Stuff" Kelsey; Steenerson & Macho vs The Barbarians; Rack-N-Roll Express vs The Unknown Studs and the sensational 18-Man Battle Royal.
