McMahon ruins another DVD!, 4.4.2012 |
| Reviewer: Dave Goldberg (Long Branch, NJ) |
Marred by McMahon editing out the Benoit footage originally put in by Bret especially since there is significant focus on the second run of Stampede & who came out of it. And add to that there was no mention of Jushin Liger & Hiroshi Hase's start over there.
But considering how the documentary is cut to 90 minutes & the extras do not even come close to filling the DVD its a ripoff. There is enough with the gap in the first DVD to have it a 2 DVD set instead of a 3 DVD set. I guess McMahon screwed the Harts again but himself essentially once word gets out.
Ok people Benoit had diminished capacity. He had Alzheimer's his brain damage so bad. That's no murder in this country. It means that you have no concept of what you are doing. So enough with the elitist self-righteous from a company who looks the other way for so many disgusting acts from big kiss ups backstage! |

    Best So Far, 4.4.2012 |
| Reviewer: Ryan Tourgee (Cranston, RI) |
This is the best documentary DVD that WWE has ever put out. Consider it a companion piece to Wrestling With Shadows. The tributes to Davey and Owen and the rest of the family were really touching. I know some people will be disappointed that Benoit wasn't mentioned and they didn't dwell on the negative aspects but keep in mind that this is a WWE product and it was meant to be a celebration of the Hart Family. |

Awesome dvd but a side note for the future, 4.4.2012 |
| Reviewer: adam quesenberry (willis, VA) |
I loved this dvd as i am a life long fan of Bret Hart and the family.Bret is my childhood hero and still is i admire his integrity and try to live with the honor and respect that Bret allways has. There was parts of the documentary that brought tears to my eyes like the parts with owen really brought back some painful memorys. But the documentary was amazing except the fact that it had vinces fingerprints all over it.The six man tag with the bros vs the kiwis and dynamite had a part where bruce got split ope.Enter the PG era they made his face black and white every time he was in plain view of the camera so keep this in mind in the future that the WWE is censoring their dvds to.I hate to see what theyll do to the elimination chamber anthology later this yr but other than that a great dvd |
