Reviewer: derek hamel (broken arrow, OK)

No matter how many times I see it, I'm always astounded by the lack of respect from the normally educated ROH fans directed towards Takeshi Morishima, ROH champ thru most of 2007. I'm a huge fan-it's possible part of the reason is because of his astounding resemblance to one of the all-time greats, Freebird Terry Gordy. However, had it turned out he looked like the Bammer but threw punches like Kane, the physical comparison wouldn't have been enough to turn me into such a supporter. To each his own, and my personal tastes always ran toward the skilled monsters, like Gordy, Stan Hansen, Bruiser Brody, and Big Van Vader. Morishima fits right into that category. And this match between he and Austin Aries is a classic.

"Pretty solid show from ROH. My personal favorite of the night was Quackenbush's ROH debut in a good effor against the Briscoes and all the other great teams in the Tag Team Endurance match. The FIP title match was very good except the ending truly sucked ass. I don't complain too much about endings but I felt truly cheated with this one. The main event was great and honestly better than expected. The 4 corner survival was solid as well.

Besides that
